It's my BIRTHDAY!!

27 years ago today I graced the earth with my presence. So far this has been the best birthday ever. It all started on Friday. I've been celebrating my birthday everyday since then. My wonderful husband sent me flowers and there have been gifts and card galore. One card surpasses them all. Megan Myrick, one of my favorite teenagers in the world made a card for me and I just have to share it:
It's every letter of all my names:
J-is for the jingling you make with the bells at Christmas time
E-is for how enlightening you are.
S-is for the smiling smirk you put on my face.
S-is for the smell of your perfume
I-is for the unique imagination you have
C-is for the child deep within you.
A-is for your age because you're getting up there

L-is for the leaping I do when I am around you.
Y-is for that young age you used to be
N-is for your nails and how colorful they are

E-is for your electrifying presence
C-is for how much care for our community
K -is for how kind you are
A-is for the apparel you wear
R-is for the super cool retreats you plan
D- is for how good you drive

L-is for how loquacious you are
A-is for your muscular arms
W-is for how white you are
R-is for how much you rock
E-is for the emptiness in the room when you're not there
N-is for your new hair color and how punk it looks
C-is for how good you crochet
E-is for how encouraging you are

Thanks Meg!! It really has been the best birthday ever!!!

blogging sucks gah!!

I have been trying to blog for about an hour. Apparently only the cool kids blog and as of right now Megan is the only one in the office without her very own blog. Anyway, it's a lot harder than I thought it would be. First, I forgot my user id, then when I figured that out (by the way I hate my user id, but when Robert set my blog up he spelled my name wrong, now I'm stuck with just-jess-retarded, I know) anyway, when I figured out my user id I realized I forgot my password. To top it all off. This is possibly the most intimidating thing I've ever done. Now I feel that I need to somehow muster up enough eloquence to be as cool as the boys (Robert, Josh & T) and I just don't think I have it in me. We'll see how it goes....
